The Guangzhou International Hospitality Supplies Fair (HOSFAIR Guangzhou), the Zone A of the Canton Fair Complex, China. Its scope includes: Kitchen equipment, Hotel furniture, Hotel textile, Guest room & Lobby supplies, Clean & Laundry, Intelligence & Entertainment, Tableware & Accessories, Food & Beverage, Restaurant chain as well as Hotel design. In the past few years, we were attracted exhibitors and purchasers from at home and abroad such as Fabbri, U-Star, Imperial Palace Hotel and so on.
Why it’s interesting to participate to your exhibition for an European?
This year, Food Hospitality World China which is organized by Fiera Milano, will be held concurrently with HOSFAIR. Besides, we also prepare a series of theme activities. For example, HOSFAIR Cocktail Master Cup, Guangzhou International Coffee Cup Competition, CCL Cup Brewers Cup Championship, etc. We also provide Business Matching. HOSFAIR Business Matching is a customized suite of integrated matching services dedicated to helping global customers identify and screen potential China business partners. This service draws on the HOSFAIR’s database that has been accumulated for more than 30 years of experience matching China and overseas companies.
What are the stakes for you today in the hotel industry and especially in China?
According to the prediction of World Tourism Organization, China will become the largest tourist destination and the fourth largest export country of tourists’ origin. Meanwhile, China is making greater and greater contribution to the world’s tourism, which makes Chinese market is getting more and more attention from the hotel industry. In addition, thanks to the policy of “the Belt and Road” and “ Supply side structural reforms”, hotel supplies industry is meeting new development opportunities.
What are the main innovations that have marked the hotel industry in recent months? Can you give us some examples?
In my opinion, the transformation from traditional sense of hotel management to customer management as well as the show up of intelligence hospitality equipment might be the main innovations.
